When standard hip hop is popular in CIS countries and only songs are sung in Russian, LILDYSMOKE is able to surprise and sings simultaneously in English, Spanish, French, Arabic where such languages have not been heard. The artist hails from Russia, but moved to Finland, yet he feels Russia is one of the many places for the author, and he feels it serves as a kind of guide, muse, guide to the world of inspiration. The artist lives in Moscow currently and loves the city boundlessly. According to the singer, “The city gives me the energy to live and create,” something a lot of artists in Hip-Hop usually don’t talk about. The artist was born January 27th, 2002, and since childhood, he has had a genuine love for experimentation. These experiments consisted in new images, non-standard thinking, but such experimentation continues to this day in his music and sound. The artist began his musical path in 2013, when he discovers Scrillex and Jack U. From here he began experimenting in the genres Dubstep and House. In 2015, he created his first House album “Trance”

In 2017, He started using his voice in his music and he also rebranded himself as $LILDYSMOKE$. Not even two years later, he would drop his first studio album “Crystal Collection,” after a flood of singles and EPs leading up to the project. The record garnered a buzz for the artist, and listeners noted the novelty of the sound of the project. It had a unique, rich style, and it was recorded in the first English language in Russia, Regalia. With shades of minimalism, as well as a mixture of Gothic themes, this ultimately was the first victory for the artist. The album gained the covet 30,000 auditions.

His second studio album Sin Complete put an end to his underground status in Russia. He also experimented in a mixture of Cloud Rap and Phonk, and the project was receiving recognition in Belarus, Estonia, Kazakhstan, Russia, Latvia, and Poland. This provide the artist with opportunities to travel and do shows. This was his second major project and it could arguably be seen as one of the projects that boosted the trajectory of his career.

Unfortunately the artist’s third album ‘Until The Lifting’ failed only reaching 5,000 auditions, and was noted that most of the artist’s creativity went downhill. The artist was on the verge of falling off, and many Russian publications were trying to cancel the artist completely. A year has gone by and the artist has been silent for a while. LILDYSMOKE would reach new heights out of nowhere with his fourth studio album ‘Where I Fly.’ He began to experiment again with more sad flows, technical performance, and melodic vocals. For the first time in Russia, he created a melodic, metal Regalia, for the first time for the CIS countries he opened an ambient range Regalia. The record would gather over 547,000 auditions in Russia for the artist. This would ultimately be the defining album in his career, and would propel his career further.

Experimentation has shown to be huge in his career and this is a good indicator for his future, and what’s next to come. LILDYSMOKE got opportunities to meet with such famous artists as MC ПОХ, LILDRUGHILL, SUNF1OWER, Mangie Richie, LIL B. He even recently just received a co-sign from Chief Keef and Glogang. Due to the language the artist often faced misunderstandings with his lyrics in Russia. He also keeps up with fashion and spends his time in that realm as well. He combines high fashion with streetwear and gothic tones. He often speaks of it as “performance communication for the modern man in the street.” Despite the multiple cancellations of this artist and the misunderstanding of his lyrics, he still remains afloat. LILDYSMOKE can easily be considered an outsider from the world of music, but as the artist says, “you do what you think is necessary and do not listen to the criticism of others.”
